Arpitaa Mitra is a Noida-based visual artist with a vibrant passion for experimenting with colors and artistic forms. Her creative journey began in the field of education, where she dedicated over 25 years as a teacher, school principal, and coordinator in reputed senior secondary institutions across Delhi. Her academic background includes a Postgraduate degree in Economics and a Sangeet Prabhakar in Vocal Music, reflecting her multifaceted talent in both the visual and performing arts.
Driven by a vision to bring art closer to every household, Arpita founded Art Mania Worldwide Studio (AMWS) in June 2020 — a unique global platform that offers painting, singing, and dance education to all age groups. AMWS provides online art classes, organizes exhibitions and competitions, and promotes emerging and established artists across the globe. It has become a vital space for artistic expression, empowerment, and economic independence — especially for women and homemakers.
Under her leadership, AMWS has empowered numerous students by offering them avenues to showcase their talent, connect with buyers, and build confidence through creative skills. The platform also hosts exclusive exhibitions for children, nurturing their talent from an early age with the belief that early professional exposure helps them excel in the future.
Arpitaa is also the host of ‘Art Ki Baatein’, an insightful talk show where she interviews senior and renowned figures from the world of visual and performing arts. These conversations provide valuable guidance for aspiring artists and are available on AMW’s YouTube channel.

As a certified Art Therapist, Arpitaa uses creative expression to help people process trauma, build insight, and develop emotional coping skills. Her work focuses on healing through self-expression and unlocking the inner potential of individuals through art.
As an artist, Arpitaa continues to actively exhibit her work across Delhi and other parts of India, participating in numerous solo, group, and online shows. Her paintings have earned her several awards and accolades, reinforcing her standing in the Indian contemporary art scene.
